At Alabardero Catering & Experiences, we care about sustainability in all aspects of our events, including the packaging used. We know that conventional disposable packaging generates a lot of waste and has a negative impact on the environment. Therefore, we use sustainable packaging that minimises our environmental impact and promotes responsible practices, for example, biodegradable packaging and recyclable materials such as paper straws. We are also joining in with the elimination of single-use plastics.
We adapt to each customer’s needs when choosing sustainable packaging specifically for their event. We work closely with suppliers who are committed to sustainability and offer eco-friendly packaging options.
At Alabardero Catering & Experiences we have ISO 14001 and ISO 9001 certification of our quality management system, as well as control of the environmental impact of our activities, which allows us to organise sustainable events at FYCMA (where our main kitchens are located) and in the province of Malaga.
With these certifications and our commitment to sustainability, we perform different actions focused on caring for the environment and managing resources efficiently.
One example of this is in the water supply at our headquarters in Malaga, where we have water dispensers connected to the mains that provide high quality water, reducing the impact on the environment generated by the use of plastic drums and other materials.
We also take into account the use of reusable and recyclable packaging in our creations, as well as having suitable containers for the management of waste according to its nature.

At Alabardero Catering & Experiences we have been creating sustainable corporate events for years. An example of this is the one we did for Sage Platinum.
For this event we considered the use of tableware with sustainable materials and a menu with ingredients from local and vegan markets. The décor was also well integrated with the space, where natural elements were highlighted.
